Glide wax - HF7XBW, then HF8BW Saturday
Fluoro - FC7X Cera F powder ironed in at 160C
Interesting waxing conditions. Warm up into the 40's with melting and loss of snow. Followed by a drop in temps and a little bit of snow.
My opinion is the snow will be fully transformed and dirty as the course is located in a big city.
For glide wax, I'd use HF7XBW. The 'BW' is an additive that helps with both dirt and friction from the granular ice pellets. Iron in. Allow to cool. Scrape, brush with the medium bronze brush, then the fine steel brush.
Top with FC7X Cera F powder ironed in at 160C. Brush very well with either the horse hair or Boars hair brush. Finish with the blue polishing brush.
If it's possible to rewax, when the temps warm-up Saturday afternoon, I'd switch to HF8BW. Top with FC7X, same as earlier.
For those on a budget, FC6XS Cera F Cold Solid block may be substituted for FC7X powder.
