Fluoro - FC4X Cera F powder ironed in at 165C
Looks like it will be another bitter cold race at the Ridge. Some new snow too, which will add drag.
The most important factor for fast skis in these conditions will be to use a cold grind ski that has had the base hardened. CH4 works great for having a hard base.
Sprinkle on some LF3x cold powder over the CH4 to add in some fluoro. Iron in both at the same time. Or use a top coat of FC4X to help with the small amount of moisture which develops with the sun being out.
Brush out the cold glide wax and FC4X well with a Horsehair or Boars hair brush. It helps to rebrush after skis a few km.
Binder - VG35 ironed in
Kick wax - VR30. Cork in several thin layers corked smooth according to the shape of the wax pocket. Once you have the kick dialed in at the track, cork in one thin full length layer of V05 Polar for added speed.
